About Me

What’s up Superior Region my name is Samantha Medvin and I am a proud member of Susanville FFA and Intermountain Section. Coming into my 4th year as an FFA member, I have been an active member of FFA since my freshman year. My freshman year I competed in Creed Speaking, Novice Opening and Closing, and Livestock Judging. My SAE was showing a market lamb for our local fair. My sophomore year I competed in Impromptu Public Speaking, Advanced Opening and Closing, and Novice Parliamentary Procedure. I started a second SAE project where I became a cleaner at the local butcher shop. I also continued raising market lambs. For my junior year I competed in Officer Opening and Closing, Prepared Public Speaking, and Advanced Parliamentary Procedure. I also served as my chapters Secretary for the 2025-2026 year. Coming into my senior year I will be serving as my chapters President. I will also be competing at the national level with my Advanced Parliamentary Procedure Team.

Outside of the FFA I am an active member in 4-H. I am also an athlete in dance and swim. I work two jobs, I am a lifeguard and a cleaner at a local butcher shop. I am also active in many community services and events. Some of my hobbies include hiking, surfing, and skateboarding. I enjoy time with my friends and family. My friends and I favorite thing to do is spend time at my grandmas house.

My why is to serve. I have always felt my purpose was to serve; it brings me the most fulfillment.

My piece of advice to someone would be don’t be afraid of hard work, any road you take is going to be long but worth it in the end.

My goals as an officer is to learn and grow in leadership. As well as to connect with members and non members in hopes to further strengthen our region.
